For rights holders
Tizen Archive is a non-commercial archive and catalog of apps and watch faces for Samsung Tizen watches. It exists so that these watches stay usable after the Galaxy Store shutdown. The project is free, does not sell packages and does not run ads.
Packages come from users and personal collections. We take copyright seriously: if you are a rights holder and do not want your app distributed through the archive, we will remove it.
How to submit a notice
Write to [email protected]. Please include:
- The name of the app or watch face, its package ID (packageId) if known, and the affected versions.
- The URLs of the archive pages for these packages.
- A statement that you are the rights holder or are authorized to act on their behalf. If you are a representative, say whom you represent.
- Your name (or organization) and a contact email address.
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the distribution infringes your rights, and that the information in the notice is accurate.
We review notices manually and usually reply within a few business days.
What we do
- If the notice looks well-founded, we disable downloads and hide the package page. We also block re-uploads of the same files.
- We tell you the outcome.
- If a user uploaded the package, they may object. We would then pass them your notice without personal data and consider their reply. The final decision is ours.
For developers
If you are the author and want your app to stay in the archive with a corrected description, author or links, write to the same address. If you are happy for your app to be distributed, we would like to hear that too.
What the archive does not do
The archive does not circumvent package protection and does not modify package contents. Packages are stored exactly as the author released them, with the original signature.
False notices may carry legal liability. Please do not submit a notice unless you are sure of your rights.
