Load Own Data
There are 3 options to load data:
The load screen appears only until some own data are loaded. One of the 3 load option can be choosen there.
If you want to load completely new data, you can reset and delete app data from the options menu.
Load Encrypted Backup
- Use andOTP on the phone to create PW encrypted backup
- Name the file "accounts.json.aes. mp3"
- File must be copied into the music folder of the watch
- Start tizOTP and enter the password for decryption
- Select "andOTP encrypted" and press "load"
- You can delete the .mp3 file now

Load Plain Text Backup
- Use andOTP on the phone to create plain text backup
- Or create the json file by yourself adding at least "secret" and "issuer"
- Name the file "accounts.json.mp3"
- File must be copied into the music folder of the watch
- Start tizOTP leave password field empty
- Select "plain text json" and press "load"
- You can delete the .mp3 file now

andOTP Link Mode*
*In order to make this mode work, you need a special version of andOTP, which can be downloaded from the Galaxy Store. Or if you know how to complile Android apps you can make the necessary changes by yourself (available as fork on github).
- Install the andOTP (watch version) app on your phone
- Use the random password or set a custom backup password in andOTP
- Start tizOTP and enter the password
- Select "andOTP link mode" and press "load"
- After each start of the main app, it will check for updates from phone (andOTP needs to be started on the phone, can be running in background)

Main App Usage
- Use the bezel or touch to scroll the codes
- Access the more options with 3-dot button on the right
- The TOTP codes are updated automatically
- Increase a HOTP counter by touch on the code
- Set the counter by long touch on the counter #

Widget Usage
- Tap on each icon to change displayed account
- Tap in the center to open the main app normally
After Icon touch:
- Tap on the icon to add the HOTP account to widget and keep current counter #
- Tap on the code of HTOP account to add and increase counter #
- In case of TOTP there is no difference where you touch
- In this adding mode, long press on counter# to change the value is possible too
The main app can be fully closed. Widget works independently. If main app is closed, changing accounts/icons and loading main app from widget takes a few seconds.
Note: after new accounts have been loaded into the main app (e.g. by loading a different backup file) if there are issues with not shown icons, the widget needs to be removed and added again, alternatively watch can restarted.
